This course will provide participants with a comprehensive introduction to the many fundamental concepts that drive the design and performance of an In-building communications system. This course is designed for In-building technologists who want to enhance their foundational understanding of issues that impact indoor RF propagation and wireless service delivery and provides the technical RF fundamentals that support an understanding of the indoor RF environment. This module will provide a review of the physics, mathematical, and communication system principals that are fundamental to implementing In-building wireless initiatives, beginning with coverage of how cellular radio signals propagate indoors through clutter with the goal of being able to determine the density of antennas and RF power levels necessary to achieve the service objectives for the subscriber community.
